Effective September 20, 2026
This Policy describes how Encendr handles information when providing its business recovery service.
1. About this Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Beyond the Firewall LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company (“Encendr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with Encendr’s websites, accounts, audits, recovery services, support, and related business operations.
Encendr is a business-to-business software service for home-service businesses. When a subscribing business supplies homeowner or customer information, Encendr generally processes that information to provide services to that business and follows its lawful instructions. The business remains responsible for its customer relationship and for determining whether and how a person may be contacted. We separately determine how to use information for our own account administration, billing, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, support, and service administration purposes.
2. Information we collect
Account and business information. We collect information used to create and administer an account or audit, such as a user’s name, work email address, company name, business details, account credentials, role, and settings.
Subscription and billing information. We receive subscription plan, billing status, customer and subscription identifiers, invoice information, billing contact details, and limited payment-related information from Stripe. Stripe processes payment-card information; Encendr does not store full payment-card numbers.
Estimate and recovery information. We process estimate records and related business information, which may include estimate identifiers, dates, values, project descriptions, statuses, notes, and recovery-plan information. Spreadsheet estimate data may be parsed during import. Encendr stores the structured or extracted information needed to provide audits and recovery services; the original uploaded spreadsheet file is not permanently stored by Encendr.
Homeowner or customer information. A business may provide names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses, and other contact or estimate-related information for its customers. Businesses should provide only information reasonably needed to use Encendr.
Recovery communications and replies. We process and store authorized recovery emails, delivery information, replies, interpreted intent, objections, timing, requests, outcomes, handoff information, approvals, and related recovery history.
Technical, log, and security information. We collect information generated when the service is used, such as IP address, device or browser information, request and event timestamps, authentication events, application activity, errors, and security or audit logs. We may also receive email delivery, bounce, and inbound-routing events.
Support communications. We collect messages, contact information, and other details provided when someone contacts support or requests privacy assistance.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and operate Encendr; import and analyze estimate data; identify, prioritize, and manage recovery opportunities; prepare and send authorized recovery emails; receive and interpret replies; determine next actions within product guardrails; involve the business when its judgment or authority is required; and maintain recovery, operational, and audit history.
We also use information to create and administer accounts; manage subscriptions, invoices, capacity, and billing; provide customer support; authenticate users; secure the service; prevent fraud, abuse, and unwanted communications; debug errors; improve reliability and the service where legally permitted; comply with legal obligations; resolve disputes; and enforce agreements.
Encendr uses automated systems and AI-assisted processing for functions such as analyzing estimate and recovery information, prioritizing opportunities, determining recovery strategy, preparing communications, interpreting replies, identifying intent, objections, timing, or requests, selecting appropriate next actions within product guardrails, and determining when business involvement is required. These systems are not infallible. The subscribing business remains responsible for decisions requiring its authority, including pricing, discounts, financing terms, scope changes, scheduling, and contractual commitments.
We do not sell personal information or customer lists, and we do not use a business’s homeowner or customer information for unrelated advertising. We do not represent that Customer Data is used to train public or general-purpose AI models.
4. How information is disclosed
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, fulfill a business’s instructions, administer our relationship, protect rights and safety, or comply with law.
Service providers. We use providers that support hosting, database, authentication, security, email, payments, and AI-assisted functionality. Stripe processes subscription billing and payment information. Resend supports outbound email delivery, inbound replies, and delivery events. OpenAI or other API-based model infrastructure may process relevant content for applicable AI-assisted features. We provide these providers only the information reasonably needed for their functions and subject their use to contractual or legal obligations where applicable.
Business-directed communications. Information is disclosed to recipients when Encendr sends an authorized recovery email on behalf of a subscribing business or routes a reply and related information back to that business.
Legal, safety, and corporate matters. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect the rights, safety, and security of Encendr, our customers, recipients, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; enforce agreements; or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
5. Business customer data
A subscribing business controls the customer and estimate information it provides to Encendr and is responsible for its collection, accuracy, and lawful use. Encendr generally processes that information to provide the requested service to the business. If you are a homeowner or other customer of a subscribing business, the business you originally dealt with is usually the best place to direct a request about its records or communications. We may assist that business in responding to your request.
Encendr maintains opt-out and suppression records so that requests not to receive further recovery communications can continue to be honored. A business may not use Encendr to bypass those records or other applicable safety controls.
6. Cookies and local storage
Encendr uses limited browser storage and essential cookies or similar technologies where needed for account authentication, security, session continuity, saved interface preferences, and returning a user to an in-progress workflow. The current service does not use this information to sell personal information or serve third-party behavioral advertising. Browser settings may allow you to clear or block storage, but doing so can prevent account or preference features from working correctly.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and recovery history, administer subscriptions and billing, satisfy contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect security, maintain operational and audit records, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business operations.
Some information may be retained after an account closes where legally permitted or required. This may include billing and transaction records, security and audit logs, records needed to establish or defend legal claims, and suppression or opt-out records needed to prevent unwanted future contact. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until overwritten through ordinary processes.
A Customer may request account or data deletion by emailing support@sparkmorejobs.com. We will evaluate and act on the request subject to authentication and information we must or may retain for legal, security, billing, audit, suppression, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes. Deletion requests cannot require us to remove another business’s records where that business remains responsible for the information and applicable law permits retention.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. These include access controls, tenant separation, authentication, operational monitoring, and safeguards for sensitive service functions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Customers are responsible for protecting account credentials, limiting account access to authorized users, maintaining secure devices, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
9. Privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; receive a copy of certain information; object to or restrict certain processing; or appeal a response. These rights are not universal and may be subject to exceptions.
To make a privacy request or ask a question, email support@sparkmorejobs.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. If your information was supplied by a home-service business using Encendr, you may need to contact that business directly; where appropriate, we will help the business respond. You may opt out of recovery email by following the instructions in the message or by clearly communicating the request in a reply.
10. Children’s privacy
Encendr is a business service and is not directed to children. Customers may not knowingly provide personal information about children for use with the service unless legally permitted and reasonably necessary. If you believe a child’s information was provided improperly, contact us so we can review the matter.
11. Processing locations
Encendr and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate measures for cross-border processing.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the service, law, or our practices. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when appropriate.
